2 Organisation of the document
This part of the RDR standard comprises nine clauses. Clauses 1 provides a general introduction and Clause 2 describes how this standard is structured. Clause 3 and 4 provide a set of normative references as well as the core terms with definitions and abbreviations that are used in this standard.
Clause 5 then defines the choreography for sending both the notification and the response of a rights claim conflict created in accordance with this part of the RDR standard, while Clause 6 provides the practical application of those messages in the context or resolving rights claim conflicts.
Clause 7 then describes the choreography and practicalities of using this part of the standard in parallel with specific messages of Part 2 of the RDR standard. Clause 8 describes the structure of the messages in this part of the standard and their technical specifications while Clause 9 defines the Records used in the messages, listing their Cell names, their definitions, their cardinality and examples of values that might populate each Cell.
